Wishing You the Best Summer Camp Adventures!

To the camp community:

Even if you’re not a fan of poetry, you’ve undoubtedly heard the phrase “No Man is an Island.” The sentiment behind this infamous line of poet John Donne’s reflection on humanity is that while we may find some success as individuals, we thrive as a community.

As the camp conference season ends and the summer fast approaches, it is all too clear that the same holds true in the world of camp! It’s a pleasure to attend camp industry events, hold discussions, and see first-hand the bounty of ways that camp professionals embrace community. Each year, camp professionals come together from all over the country — and even the world — to learn, grow, renew their purpose, and plan for the challenges ahead.

In recent years, we've explored a variety of hardships with camp leaders — from staffing shortages and pandemic-era shutdowns to natural disasters and more. Rather than dwell on those hardships, camp professionals choose to embrace the spirit of adventure; forging a path forward; never broken and always open to opportunity.

Each day, we witness each camp striving to pass on that enduring spirit to its campers through unique traditions, programming, experiences, and stories. We are proud to support each camp as it does its part in shaping our growing leaders, surrounding communities, and the future itself. That is what makes working with the camp community so special! It is rewarding to serve such a dedicated community that aspires to make a lasting difference.

Thank you for sharing another season of community and leadership with us!

As the weather warms, the days become longer, and your camps become livelier in the build-up to summer camp season – we wish you only the BEST camp adventures!

Sincerely,
The iCampPro Team
